Not to mention, for a 3d Sonic title game, over half the gameplay time it actually 2d. Only people who really want to acquire all achievements would see any worth in playing through those levels again. Unfortunately, only the first level of every act is really any good, and the rest were very apparently made to extend the gameplay length of the game artificially. That would be great, if most of the levels were fun to play through. But this is Colors Ultimate, and it does have more content than the original game with unlockable cosmetic option to encourage replaying through levels. There's a feeling of cheapness about Colors from its writing, cutscene animation, to the amount of content it originally had. In retrospect, there are a lot of flaws about the game that are very hard to overlook, things like the incredibly short campaign that takes maybe a few hours at best to complete. In fact, it was viewed as a refreshing change of pace to the games that came before. There's a bit of a perception that Sonic Colors saved the Sonic franchise when it came all the way back in 2010. There's a bit of a perception that Sonic Colors Sonic Colors was never really that great, but Ultimate is both a downgrade and an upgrade.

Moralde10/Knight - For the extra Wisp concept, and most sprites on this sheet.ĮDIT: This sheet is now free for the masses, enjoy yourselves, please remember to credit me, and let me know if you like it and how you used it.Sonic Colors was never really that great, but Ultimate is both a downgrade and an upgrade. Sega - For the Wisp concept, and it's sprites. Mono Wisps are as rare as Posi Wisps, they can be found floating in space alone never more then one, or in bundles found inside Merlow's body. This wisp is black in appearance, and represents "colorlessness", it's this ability that gives the Mono Wisp it's only true positive abilities, because it represents no color, it can be paired up with Posi Wisp and not override Posi Wisp's color, giving the user of both wisps an extra Ultimate Color Blaster usage dependent on the number of Mono Wisps he has. Mono Wisp: I made this Wisp as an interesting concept based on my friend Merlow (Destruction Series), a being who ate and absorbed Wisps into his body, completely draining them of all Hyper-Go-On Energy, and while one might think this would just make a Nega Wisp, one can tell that Nega Wisps still have enough power for Sonic to use their abilities, Mono Wisps are completely drained to the point that they have NO ability to offer in the regular sense, and in fact if used along-side another wisp would prove useless as they would absorb the Hyper-Go-On energy from the other Wisp and convert them both into Nega versions of that Wisp.

Other notes, because this Wisp represents the color "white" it cannot be paired up with any other "color" wisp or it will lose it's color because like the color white, other colors "override" it.

But well, this very rare Wisp allows the user to acquire a full bar of "Ultimate Color Blaster". Now for the ability of this wisp? Pretty simple, for those who know of my Wisp Expansion Sheet, I created a new type of "final color blaster" caused Ultimate Color Blaster, which uses ALL wisps from both games to preform, so far me and Vicious (SuperShadow124 / DoubleSAnimations) are the only people I know to have used this concept.

why white? Because the Wisps use the light spectrum for their colors, so I figured it having full charge would give it a bright white light. Posi Wisps: Unlike Nega (short for Negative), Posi Wisps (Posi short for Positive) are Wisps of my own complete design, I got the idea for them when I read on Nega Wisps, Wisps that lose their charge causes them to turn Negative, I reversed this concept and made a Wisp that was "over charged" with Hyper-go-on Energy causing it to turn into a "white" Wisp. Nega Wisps: I was inspired to make Nega wisps of the original wisps by looking at the boss fights with Eggman, he used purple corrupted (or Nega) versions of the original wisp powers, so I read up on it and Nega Wisps are created when a Wisp is completely drained of it's power leaving it in a sort of negative level of energy. Mother/Nega Mother Wisp: I really only wanted to sprite the mother wisp, just to see if I could, but when I was asked by a friend to sprite the nega version, I figured I might as well complete the wisp family. I figure I should complete the sonic wisp family, and sprite the DS exclusive Mother Wisp, and final boss Nega Mother Wisp, they where pretty fun to do, anyways, I also took the liberty of making Nega Versions of all the original wisps, and made two fan-exclusive wisps of my own design.
